WhatsApp AIMED to introduce a partnership WITH GIANNIS AT ALL STAR WEEKEND. We simply added a 2 to his iconic number 34, resulting in Nigeria’s international dialing code (+234). The GarmeNt serves as a cross-cultural ode to nigeria - a collaboration between Nigerian-American designer Niyi Okuboyejo, Giannis, and Nigerian dye artisans and tailors – all connected via WhatsApp. The back of the hoodie notes Giannis’s Yoruba family name, Adetokunbo.
