Connor Fewel, The Lion
Connor Fewel, The Lion

King of the jungle, savage hunter, master payer of rent; these are but mere surface scratching details that define Fewel. Just as a noble lion takes charge of a vast grassland, this ferocious feline of a bio-chem major rules the science labs. He sinks his teeth into the juicy material of chemical compounds and pH balances by day, and by night, he scowls the prairies lurking for empty watering holes to skateboard in. He is a relentless pathfinder, and we are his pride.

Brett Johnson, The Owl
Brett Johnson, The Owl

With his head on a constant swivel, and his impeccible ability to continously dodge sticky situations, Brett is a wise owl. With the only cage in our zoo with proper heating, Brett keeps his nest snug and cozy. This high flying, notcturnal bird of pray spends his nights soaring above common pigeons on the basketball court, and his days cooped up in his shelter finishing his never-ending business homework. Though the times he often opens his beak, sarcastic chirps and snide peeps fill our zoo, Brett the owl never fails to shed his knowledge on all of the animals.

Kyle Sandler, The Turtle
Kyle Sandler, The Turtle

Cool, calm, and collected, this reptilian has no issue with breaking out of his shell and stepping outside of his comfort zone. Kyle is a talented photographer in the process of honing the skill, who will go to whatever limits and stretch his neck to endless lengths to capture "the perfect shot." Though his demeanor may be leisurely, his creative mind is constantly moving at a rapid pace.

Jemmons, The Sloth
Jemmons, The Sloth

Jack Emmons, aptly nicknamed "Jemmons" when he first entered the zoo, is the definition of hanging loose. This easy going mammal would rather kick back and munch the fruits of Cecropia trees than get caught up in the dramas of the animal kingdom. Coming off of a recent shoulder surgery in the summer, this close relative of the ant eater is doing all that it takes to rebound and shed his inherited, leisurely ways, but has no issue relaxing with the other animals if they need a friend. Two-toed, or three; as long as Jemmons can flash all zoo comers a comforting peace sign, he is one content sloth.

Jaima Halliburton, The Bear
Jaima Halliburton, The Bear

This congenial mammal runs on a three step daily cycle; work hard, play hard, hibernate hard. When he's not getting is beauty sleep, Jaima exercises his passion for music and fashion. Instead of catching salmon, he's constantly catching up on the latest hit songs and clothing trends, and always sharing his insight with the rest of the animals. This bear embraces our zoos lack of the bear-necessities and is constantly making the crucial purchases of dishes, trash bags, and paper towels to keep our quarters livable.
